Standard J Cups 2.0 suit most users performing conventional barbell lifts with standard bars. Round Sandwich J Cups 2.0 offer additional barbell protection with their full plastic lining—ideal for premium bars. Flat Sandwich J Cups 2.0 feature a wider opening specifically designed for specialty bars (safety squat bars, cambered bars, hex bars). All three are rated to 1,000lbs and require 3×3" uprights with 1" pins (Round Sandwich also accepts 5/8" pins).
The Drop-In Dip Attachment (810lb capacity) is the premium option—its double C-cup mounting system provides exceptional stability and is compatible with belt squat attachments for weighted dips. The Dip Station Attachment (400lb capacity) is a more straightforward bolt-together solution suited to bodyweight and moderately loaded dips. Both are compatible with the PR-5000 and Apollo racks.
The Leg Roller 2.0 features tighter mounting tolerances, a stronger structure, and CleanGrip™ vinyl—making it the preferred choice for commercial settings or those prioritising hygiene and longevity. The Standard Leg Roller is a solid, proven option available individually or as a pair, with a higher 600lb capacity rating.
Most attachments in this range are designed for the REP PR-5000 as the primary platform. Several—including the Spotter Arms, Band Pegs, and Dip Station—also fit the Apollo and Omni racks. The Smith Machine Rack Attachment is compatible with both the PR-5000 and PR-4000 in 80" and 93" upright heights. Always verify compatibility with your specific rack model before ordering.
A well-specified REP rack setup typically combines: J-cups (matched to your bar type) + Spotter Arms for safety + Band Pegs for accommodating resistance + Weight Horns for plate storage. Add the Landmine for rotational pressing, the Dip Attachment for upper body work, and the Leg Roller for isolation—creating a comprehensive strength station from a single rack footprint.
Which REP racks are these attachments compatible with?
The majority of attachments are designed for the REP PR-5000 (3×3" uprights, 1" pin holes). Several also fit the PR-4000, Apollo, and Omni series. The Smith Machine Rack Attachment specifically supports PR-5000 and PR-4000 in 80" and 93" upright heights. Check individual product listings for confirmed compatibility with your rack model.
Do the J-cups protect my barbell's knurling?
Yes. All three J-cup variants feature protective liners—soft plastic on the Standard J Cups, full plastic lining on the Round Sandwich, and a stainless-steel backing with urethane insert on the Flat Sandwich. These prevent metal-on-metal contact and protect both the barbell knurling and the rack uprights.
What's the difference between the Round and Flat Sandwich J Cups?
The Round Sandwich J Cups 2.0 have a standard opening suited to conventional Olympic bars and also accept 5/8" pins. The Flat Sandwich J Cups 2.0 feature a wider opening specifically designed for specialty bars (safety squat bars, cambered bars, multi-grip bars) and use 1" pins only. Both are rated to 1,000lbs.
Can I use the Band Pegs for storage as well as training?
Yes. The Band Pegs 2.0 are dual-purpose—they anchor resistance bands for banded squats, deadlifts, and mobility work, and also serve as convenient band storage when not in use. Rated to 600lbs and sold as a pair.
How does the Smith Machine Rack Attachment work?
The Smith Machine Rack Attachment mounts to your existing PR-5000 or PR-4000 cage and adds a guided vertical bar path with adjustable angles (-5° to +5°). High-quality bearings ensure smooth operation. It converts your power rack into a dual-function station—you retain full free-weight capability while gaining the guided movement of a Smith machine.
What weight plates are compatible with the Weight Horns?
The Weight Horns accommodate both bumper plates and iron plates. The 6" horn holds up to four 45lb bumper plates or seven iron plates; the 12" horn provides additional capacity. They use a bolt-on design and are compatible with 5000 Series racks.
Is the Landmine compatible with all barbells?
The REP Landmine accepts barbells with both 1" and 2" sleeves, making it compatible with standard and Olympic barbells. It connects quickly via the included band peg and mounts to the side of your rack without permanent modification.
Do I need both Spotter Arms and J-cups?
Yes—J-cups hold the barbell at your starting position, while Spotter Arms catch the bar if you fail a lift. Both are essential for safe solo training. The Spotter Arms also feature 1" hole spacing, allowing other attachments to be mounted to them for additional versatility.
Can the Drop-In Dip Attachment be used with a belt squat?
Yes. The Drop-In Dip Attachment's double C-cup mounting system is specifically designed to be compatible with belt squat attachments, allowing you to use both on the same rack setup.
