The IceBarrel is a cylindrical cold-therapy tub for people who prefer to sit upright. The seated position gives full submersion in a minimal footprint, and the closed shape adds a sense of seclusion for private sessions. Two sizes are available. The standard IceBarrel suits most users. The IceBarrel XL is recommended for anyone over 6'2" (187 cm), so you can submerge fully; it has a fiberglass insert instead of stainless steel.
The Icetubs Engine™ cools the water without ice, holds the temperature, and can optionally heat the water for warm and contrast sessions. The tub arrives in two parts, tub and engine, which connect with the supplied connectors.
Every Icetubs Engine™ circulates and cleans the water every six minutes through a replaceable 5-micron filter and a chemical-free ozonator. The filters are ISO certified and capture particles smaller than a red blood cell (7 to 8 microns).
With normal use the ozonator and filter keep the water fresh for up to one month, and many owners refresh the water roughly every one to two months. Avoid chlorine and salt-based products, which can damage the stainless steel. AquaFinesse, a cleaner made for ice baths, is available as an optional add-on.
