Adjust the resistance of your NOHRD SlimBeam by swapping out the cable. Choose from 3 different ratios: 3:1, 2:1, and 1:1. The ratio you select will directly affect the resistance on the machine. A higher ratio results in lower overall resistance, but also means smaller increments between weight plates. Keep in mind that a higher ratio corresponds to a longer cable (for example, a 2:1 cable is twice as long as a 1:1 cable). To calculate the exact resistance, divide the weight on the stack by the first number in the cable ratio. If unsure read our understanding cable ratios article.
